Toddler Snack: Sweet and Simple Cinnamon Applesauce (Raw, paleo, vegan, primal)


I think any way to speed up a fresh and healthy snack is a godsend. This whole process takes just a few minutes. It’s also an easy snack for children to help with. Applesauce is by no means expensive, but organic no sugar-added cinnamon applesauce is not always easy to come by. And no one sells yummy raw applesauce after all. It’s nice to get all the benefits of the apple since pasteurization kills some of the healthy vitamins and nutrients of the fruit.

2-4 sweet organic apples such as Fuji or Gala
Sprinkling of cinnamon
A squeeze of lemon juice


Peel and core apples and chop roughly

Squeeze lemon juice over apple pieces

Add apples and a dash or two of cinnamon to blender or food processor and mix until a smooth consistency is reached. Mmmmmmm.
