Over at 100 Days of Real Food, there is a wonderful 10 day Real Food Pledge. A few months ago, I don’t think I could go a day without refined sugars and carbs and processed foods, but these days, it’s gotten easier. And it sort of happened by accident, as a fun cooking exploration. I started looking for ways to substitute healthier sweeteners or to avoid gluten and these experiments turned out delicious! My psyche definitely benefited from my cooking and tasting real, clean food. So here I am, taking this pledge and blogging about it. The rules are listed above for anyone who wants to join in. The only areas I’m not following to the letter are super local, as in farmers market meats, for expense reasons.
